It's the beginning of the new year and with that comes resolutions! A bunch of them having to do with health and fitness. Now I don't mind a resolution or two. And I try to keep mine reachable. But it's nothing wrong with setting a few goals to focus on. If yours have anything to do with fitness and health. The best advice I could give you is to "get comfortable being uncomfortable" because if you are placing yourself in uncomfortable situations at the gym and with your health. Your probably going to reach your goals and receive your benefits faster. And what I mean by this is. I used to be the one who was a little shy to do the exercises or routines I really wanted to because I didn't want the attention on me. But after a while it dawned on me that the people were looking because they were interested and liked what I or my group were doing. And the people who were looking with the confused look or a snicker. I just took that as we were willing to do the things they weren't willing to do. At with that you'll see greater results. I know quite a few others who are at that shy stage. For that we have this saying "what you lifting ain't gonna give me no muscle!" "So (for lack of a better F word lol) forget about em DO YOU!" The same goes with eating right it can be very uncomfortable at first going through junk food withdraw. But eventually you'll get over it and make it a habit "DO YOU!" So here's a few pics of my first workout of the new year Jan 2, 2012! BLAZING with the tire sled, sandbag runs, rope, push-ups, ab-roller!!!! Questions or comments. Drop me a message. BLAZE ON!!!
