Today I accomplished a fitness goal that I gave myself until the summer time to accomplish. The goal was to complete a muscle up on the pull up bar. And let me tell you I was very very happy! Me figuring out how to fly like superman is probably the best way to describe the feeling!! I mean I did the research. Youtube vids. Written instructions. And it seemed like the muscle up just ain't want me to muscle him up! And it didn't help that in one of the youtube vids. The guy ended the vid by saying "if his instructions didn't help then you just might be someone who just can't do it." And I started to think to myself "damn what if I'm one of those people who just can't do it?!?!" But I kept at it! And finally today was the day. About two seasons ahead of schedule I might add! Had my peoples out there for encouragement! Next few fitness goals on my list are 10 pistols on each leg (with an ailing left knee), 10 hand stand push ups, learning how to swim, and jump rope double unders. I think today will help me with the double unders cause heaven only knows I've been trying to get those down for a while now. But you know. Impossible is nothing! Keep y'all Blazers posted on progress!!!
